Peacocks in Palos Verdes

There are wild peacocks roaming the nearby hills. When Mark and I first moved here we went for a drive and then a walk that stopped abruptly when we saw a peacock, with feathers unfurled, tap dancing on somebody's driveway. The homeowner happened to step outside, and I asked "Is that your peacock?" He looked at me like I was quite stupid and explained that the peacocks just go where they want. We went to see them many times and then not for awhile. A few weeks ago, we took the girls to that area and the peacocks were out in full force - some even showing their plumes.
